Aromatic Hydrocarbon Solvents

Toluene (Methylbenzene) and Xylene (Dimethylbenzene) are clear, water-insoluble aromatic hydrocarbons characterized by strong aromatic odors and high solvency power. They dissolve a wide spectrum of natural and synthetic resins, gums, chlorinated rubbers, and asphaltic materials.

Primary Industrial Applications

  • ✓ Adhesives & Sealants: Primary solvent in polychloroprene contact adhesives and rubber cements.
  • ✓ Printing & Inks: Fast-drying carrier solvent in rotogravure packaging printing.
  • ✓ Industrial Coatings: High-solvency diluent for polyurethane, epoxy, and alkyd protective coatings.
  • ✓ Chemical Syntheses: Solvent medium for chemical reactions, benzoic acid, and toluene diisocyanate intermediates.

Packaging Options

Available in sealed 200L mild steel barrels (approx. 170–175 kg net weight) and dedicated road tankers (10 KL to 20 KL) with tamper-evident dome seals.
